Read in English

If you want to read in English, to prepare the Bac or just for pleasure, you can buy "Thirteen Modern English and American Short Stories" (Livre de Poche). Then, you can find several short stories of famous Anglo-Saxon authors, like Roald Dahl, Truman Capote or Ray Bradbury.

This book is very well done, because on the left pages, you read the stories, and on the right pages, you can find the definitions or the synonyms (always in English) for the difficult terms or the keywords. You can also find biographies of these great authors. So this is an efficient way to discover new words and expressions, and, moreover, to learn more about the British and American literature.
